Island Light is a less formal and less structured version of the old resort cliché. It is about chilling and relaxing in ways that are more spontaneous and less predictable. Many of the resorts feature undiscovered, private spaces in and around their grounds and gardens. We’ve furnished these with an eclectic selection of outdoor beanbags, on the beaches, around the pools and on the grass in secret enclaves behind a hedge or within a herb garden. These wonderful hidden places would encourage a sense of discovery and delight at finding a secret hammock slung between two palms or an organic, wooden bench next to an outdoor library. There's always something to discover.
